Conformation:

• Type: Thin bodied with moderate legs.

• Top:    Level topline, longer backed, sickle tail.

• Body: Well sprung ribs and a square rear.

• Head: Beautiful extreme headpiece, correct ear set, large domed head with 90° angle to a short, blunt muzzle. She has a scissor bite with 6x6 dentition.

• Legs: Beautiful movement with strong drive in the rear and good reach in the front. Straight front legs and moderate angulation in the rear. She stands high on her small, tight feet.

Faults: Low tail set, elbows out, too thin of a coat.

Temperament:

Patches is queen bee around here. She is my dominant bitch but with a mild temperament towards people. She is very intelligent and has a natural ability to run, jump and climb better than most other Chihuahuas.

• She loves to dress up in dog clothes!

• Patches is a natural born mother. She is very patient and attentive towards her babies and keeps them squeaky clean. She acts like a puppy when she has a litter and plays with them more as a littermate than as a mother - its very cute to watch.
